Beautiful pictures and having lived there for 2 years, at Jedway Bay, open pit mine with my family at age 11 and 12, I still have wonderful memories of beach life as a ‘child’….. I now have to be on the beach for peace of mind and My husband of 40 years and I have retired a block from it on the hill, where I see the ocean daily on Vancouver Island…. not as isolated, but not as beautiful either !
….. LOVE it!!! thanx for the memories

Love the photo’s…not only of the Galapago’s but of South Africa and the many different locations you have shared with us. Russia was just amazing and the trip to Amsterdam really looked fun. Someday I hope to travel like you and Adrian do, but until that day, I enjoy the trip with you via my computer!!!

I am constantly amazed, Julia, by the fact that two photographers can stand side by side and come away with two completely different photos. Not only did I not see any pelicans flying during our cruise, I never saw these waves! Beautiful shots.
